In order to provide certain Services, we may request access to location information, including precise geolocation information collected from your device. If you do not consent to the collection of this information, certain Services will not function properly, and you will not be able to use those Services. You can stop our collection of location information at any time by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, some of our mobile applications will no longer function. You also may stop our collection of location information via mobile application by following the standard uninstall process to remove all Vagaro mobile applications from your device.
You can opt out of receiving promotional email messages from Vagaro by either following the opt-out instructions included in those messages or by logging into your Vagaro account and changing your email notification settings. You may only opt out of promotional text messages from Vagaro by replying STOP.
Opting out of receiving communications may impact your use of the Services. If you decide to opt out, we may still send you non-promotional (transactional) communications, such as digital receipts and messages about your account or our ongoing business relations.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Right to Know: You may have the right to request, free of charge, that we provide certain information about how we have handled your Personal Information, including the categories of Personal Information collected; categories of sources of Personal Information; business and/or commercial purposes for collecting your Personal Information; categories of third parties/with whom we have shared your Personal Information; and whether we sell any categories of Personal Information to third parties (however, we do not sell your Personal Information).
Right to Deletion: You may have the right to request deletion of your Personal Information that we have collected, subject to certain exemptions. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting a change or deletion (e.g., when you make a purchase or enter a promotion, you may not be able to change or delete the Personal Information provided until after the completion of such purchase or promotion). If you are an End User you may, depending on the Vagaro Services utilized, be able to access, correct or request deletion of Personal Information that you have previously provided to us through your online customer account. These Data Subject Requests and other rights, including objection, restriction and portability (to the extent this right to data portability is provided to you by applicable law), can also be made directly to the relevant Subscriber.
For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the Personal Information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us upon registering for a Vagaro account, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. Where applicable law allows for an authorized agent to submit such a request, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject line "Data Subject Request – Agent Request" and someone will be in touch with the agent and the End User to verify the request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and meet statutory time lines. Moreover, where you are an End User, Vagaro may need to forward your request and refer you to your account with Vagaro Customer(s) who may be better placed to address your request.
If you are under 18 years of age and a user of the Vagaro Services under a verifiable Vagaro account or can otherwise be identified, you may also be entitled to ask us to remove content or information that has been created as part of Vagaro Service(s) by submitting a request to email@example.com OR toll free at 1-800-919-0157.
If you are an End User of one of our Vagaro Business Customer(s) and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Vagaro Business Customer(s) or would like to request and exercise any of the rights as set out above in relation to Personal Information held by Vagaro Business Customer(s), please contact them directly.
If you are under 13, please don’t use our services. If we collect your data and later learn you are under 13, we will immediately delete it.
We take security of your data seriously and use best practices to keep your data safe. No business can ever guarantee hackers won’t be able to break into our site(s) however security and protection of your data is given the highest priority.
